Join artist-in-residence Jacquie Meng for a hands-on workshop where you'll create your own whimsical, working cardboard clock.
In this playful session for young creatives (ages 7+), participants will choose from three fun clock shapes and decorate them using colourful materials. All materials are provided, and everyone will take home a functioning, hand-crafted timepiece.
As part of the workshop, Jacquie will lead a special behind-the-scenes tour of her studio and share the inspirations behind her practice.
Jacquie Meng reimagines time beyond the conventional clock, drawing on moon cycles, grass growth and shifting sky colours. Her surreal clocks reflect a playful, symbolic approach to culture, memory, rhythm, and transformation.
