The Youth Photographic Award and Short Film Prize is Woollahra Council's annual competition for high school students in the local area. Running since 1994, this much loved annual competition provides an opportunity for young aspiring photographers and filmmakers from the Eastern suburbs to reach a broader audience. Judged by Artist and Photographer Garry Trinh and Film and Television Director and Editor Shawn Seet, the exhibition showcases an expansive and dynamic mix of photos and short films.

The competition comprises of Junior and Senior categories and this year we have sought photographic submissions exploring ideas of ‘Inclusivity’.

You are invited to view all entries in our online exhibition.

Congratulations to the winner of the People's Choice, as voted by the public during the exhibition period:

My Happy Place Joshua Tsoukalas Yr 8, Waverley College
