David Solomons lives by the water in Sydney and loves painting and sketching. Watercolours are his passion. He enjoys painting his surrounding area, seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes and people in action. He has entered several art exhibitions including The Glover, The Wynne and The Archibald. His works of art are held in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, Scandinavia and North America. David paints and sketches every day, and enjoys painting ‘en plein air’. He undertakes several commissions each year.
A teacher at heart and later in life a specialised accountant, David approaches art with zest, integrity, commitment and passion. He is inspired by the beauty of nature and the man made locally, throughout Australia and his favourite holiday destinations.
